About me

born in Munich, Germany began his musical career as a DJ in 1987 as a 12-year-old, playing at the local youth centre.

He started playing Hip-Hop, Breakdance and Electro, changed to Acid in the early 90s which led the way to Techno, House and Progressive later on.

He played the Munich Style that was fast, dynamic, percussive with a lot of Shuffle-Beats, very different from the style in Frankfurt, the upcoming capital for techno and other cities in Germany.

From 1996 – 2002 DJ SLT worked as a promoter for events in Germany and Austria and managed the bookings for Afrika Islam/ Mr. X.

In 2004 he moved to London to focus on his music, working with analog gear and producing various E.P.s and a double vinyl album. Unfortunately all equipment and master tapes were lost in a fire at the studio in May 2006 and he moved back to Germany with 2 turntables, a mixer and his collection of 32.000 vinyls.

In 2015 he started playing classic gigs again and since 2019 he joined Andrea Kraemer, playing under the pseudonyms Junk Project, Schwarze Puppen, Kraemer & SLT. As the pseudonym SLT he is focussing on Techno and Progressive sets. He then founded his label ACERBUS RECORDS and also hosts a platform for upcoming artists, distributed by Kontor.
